You must be energetic with superior
communication and client education
skills. You must possess a flexible,
outgoing and team-oriented attitude.
Veterinarians must be personable, enthusiastic,
compassionate, self-motivated, dynamic,
articulate and extremely knowledgeable
in dog, cat, avian and exotic medicine.
An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion
for veterinary medicine is necessary.
Veterinarians must be competent to
perform the necessary medical, surgical
and dental procedures to which AAHV
clientele are accustomed. Experienced
veterinarians or new graduates with
long-term business relationship desired.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Benefits and compensation are competitive.
(Association dues, license fees, malpractice
insurance paid. CE, health insurance
allowances.) Rotating EMS duty, adequate
time off and vacation. Salary based
on experience plus EMS Pay.
